MMAS License Pricing

The cost of an MMAS-4 license is $4 per administration and the MMAS-8 is $7 per administration. A commercial license is required for more than 1000 administrations. Translations of the MMAS are from a third party ISO 17100:2015 certified company. The cost for an MMAS-4 translation is $250 and the cost for an MMAS-8 translation is $500. The method of administration of the MMAS-8 or MMAS-4 is by paper form or using our ePRO digital diary web platform, app, or API.
For students and academic researchers with more than 500 administrations, the student rate applies to the first 500 administrations. Please note that you are a student in the comments.

Retroactive License Pricing

A retroactive license is required when the MMAS scale was used without a license.
Institutional Pricing: For non student licenses the cost of a retroactive license is 10% infringement penalty based on standard licensing.
Student/Academic pricing: the cost for the first 500 administrations are based on student pricing plus a 10% penalty, administrations over 500 are based on standard licensing.

MMAS Commercial License (Subscription)

Our Subscription Package provides unlimited administrations of the MMAS4 or MMAS8 English and Validated Translations. The cost of our subscription license is per user and starts at $1000 per year. This is the preferred option if you are an insurance carrier, pharmaceutical company or have multiple studies ongoing or are providing continuity of care throughout your hospital system. The method of administration of the MMAS-8 or MMAS-4 is by paper form or using our ePRO digital diary web platform, app, or API.

If you are an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) or a hospital system that bills Medicare, in 2015 Medicare began offering monthly reimbursements for chronic care management (CCM). Use of the Morisky Scale for CCM services are billed under CPT 99490 for chronically ill Medicare patients and include at least 20 minutes of non-face to face time directed by a physician or other qualified health care professional, per calendar month. Consent must be documented in the patients medical record.

A HUGE ADVANTAGE for using the Morisky Scales is they are validated with an Internal Consistency Cronbach's alpha .83, Sensitivity 93%, and Specificity 57%.
