Unauthorized use of the Morisky Scale

The consequence of not obtaining appropriate permission to use the 4-item or 8-item Morisky Scales will result in legal action and in some cases a retraction of published articles. Unfortunately in recent years, there has been negative publicity in the use of my scales because of the aggressive and threatening demands from my former business partner. I have reorganized and embarked on a management approach that utilizes best practices in dealing with clients, including those who have infringed on copyrights. My focus is on maintaining the integrity of my copyright and encouringing scientific research. If you have infringed on my copyrights please contact me for a retroactive license. In most cases we can resolve the infringement through training on the Morisky Protocol.

I am a student taking a bachelor's degree at Musi Charitas Catholic University, Palembang in Indonesia,
I need to complete my research to complete my studies during the final year and my research is Hospital based. I would like to ask you to give me permission to use the MMAS 8 scale items. your costs are out of my budget as I am a student. I don't get any income, so I'm asking for help.

I need your permission to utilize the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale 8 in order to conduct Antidepressant medication Non-adherence and its determinants among patients living with depression at public hospitals in psychiatric clinics, Ethiopia: a multicenter cross-sectional study.
This study is conducted at a hospital in a low- to middle-income country, Ethiopia. The authorization fee is prohibitively expensive for me.
